George Watkins Murphy

I am a native and life-long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I was born and raised in Vancleave and have lived in Ocean Springs since 1979. I am a graduate of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, the University of Southern Mississippi, and the University of Mississippi School of Law. I have been in private practice since 1977 and have practiced on the Gulf Coast since 1979. I am an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. I have served as City Prosecutor Pro-tem and Municipal Judge Pro-tem for several years. I have been happily married to Mary K. Murphy, a pharmacist at OSHS, for 34 years. We have triplet daughters, Fran, Kate and Beth - all of whom are practicing attorneys.
